I am committed to providing accessible and personalized mental health care. To that end, I offer both private pay and out-of-network options, each with its own advantages.

Choosing to pay privately allows for greater confidentiality and flexibility in your treatment. Without involving insurance companies, you have more control over your mental health record and treatment decisions. However, please be aware that legal and ethical obligations may require me to disclose information in certain limited situations, such as mandated reporting or duty to warn.

As an out-of-network provider, I can also provide you with a detailed superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. The amount covered will depend on your individual plan's out-of-network benefits. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to understand the specifics of your coverage.

Whether you prefer the privacy of private pay or wish to explore your out-of-network benefits, I am here to help you navigate the financial aspects of your care. Please contact me to discuss my rates and which option might be the best fit for your needs.

To verify if your insurance accepts superbills, follow these steps:

  1. Contact your insurance company directly:

    • Call the customer service number on your insurance card

    • Ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits

    • Inquire specifically about their policy on accepting superbills for reimbursement

  2. Check your insurance plan documents:

    • Look for information on out-of-network coverage

    • Search for terms like "superbill" or "itemized receipt"

  3. Ask your provider:

    • Confirm with me that I provide superbills

    • I can explain the process and what information will be included

  4. Use your insurance company's online portal:

    • Many insurers have online resources explaining their reimbursement policies

  5. Consult with your HR department:

    • If you have employer-provided insurance, your HR team may be able to provide guidance

Remember, while most insurance companies accept superbills for out-of-network claims, the reimbursement amount can vary based on your specific plan. It's always best to verify directly with your insurance provider to understand your coverage fully.
